Malice- Chris Wooding

Malice was a VERY interesting book. The first thing that appealed to me was that the book was half regular book, half graphic novel. The story is about a legendary comic book that, if you burn the right things and say the right words, can transport you into the comic book world of Malice. Seth and Kady thought it was all make believe until their friend disappears without a trace. They set out to find there friend, only to find there is MUCH more going on...

I would REALLY recommend this book, You can't put it down. it switches between the two friends points of view and and one of them (If not both.) will keep you reading. And there's a sequel!!! I would give it 8.5 stars out of 10.

WINNIE THE POOH!

Sorry, I took a short break from the blog, but we're back, and with a new review!!! I recently saw the movie Winnie the Pooh. (Yes I know it's for three year olds.) The plot? Not mind bogglingly good, but what do you expect? It was very cute, exept for eeyore, who was just depressing. Tigger was even more annoying than usual, but piglet was just adorable. It follows the usual plot about honey, but the animals also track down "monsters" and find eeyore a new tail. It was like many stories tied into one big one. It was sweet, but no masterpiece. The biggest surprise: It's a musical!!!! It gets 3.5 stars out of 5.

HP 7.5!!!! (technically 8.)

As lindsey said, we recently saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part Two. I enjoyed it, although it wasn't my absolute favorite of the series. The wort part? the guy next to lindsey texted THE. WHOLE. TIME!!!!! I kept glaring at him. TO EVERYONE WHO OWNS A PHONE!!!!!! DON'T, DON'T text in a movie theater!!! It is distracting to others and keeps them from enjoying the movie. If you NEED to text, WAIT UNTILL THE DVD COMES OUT!!!!

Anyway, about the movie. It is a little depressing, but so was the book. I liked it though, and thought it was a good conclusion to the series. The epilogue was king of creepy. :) I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.

HP 2! HP 2! Review by Lindsey

Voldemort is dead! Well, for me he is. If you haven't seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 yet, I highly recommend it.

Dianne and I just saw it today. We both were thinking the same thing: it was a good movie, but wasn't our favorite.

I'd give it 5/5 stars, though. It was all really intense, but that's the only thing it COULD be. I mean, the movie couldn't be full of magical unicorns and fluffy bunnies, could it? I think not.

The only bad thing about the movie was the guy sitting next to me who was TEXTING the WHOLE movie. I was tempted to grab his phone and chuck it across the room. Sadly, I didn't.

Overall, it was amazing. Look out for Dianne's review of it!

It's Lindsey...Hunger Games Review and Advice

First off: ADVICE. Do NOT go outside and play basketball for an hour where it's 95 degrees out and the humidity is higher than that rainforest's. Your face turns red. REALLY red.

Anyways!
The Hunger Games! Since Dianne already gave you the plot and stuff (Thank you Dianne for not making me do any work!) I will just tell you my opinion, and rant about something!

Suzanne Collins did an amazing job on this book. No joke, this is the best book I have EVER read. Ever. It even beats Fat Cowboy Self Biography. (SHOCKER!)

I give this book 5/5 stars!

Now, I feel like I need to say something more about this book, so it's time for...LINDSEY'S RANDOM RANTS!

Topic: Gale vs. Peeta
Let's get this straight. Gale utterly disturbs me. Yes, utterly. Peeta on the other hand, well...I ♥ PEETA! No joke, just ask Dianne. So when people think that Gale is better than Peeta for the main character (Katniss) I flip out on them. What's so good about Gale, anyways? If you are a Gale Believer, please comment below on why YOU think Gale is better than Peeta.

REVIEW: THE HUNGER GAMES: DIANNE

Hiya, it's Dianne and this is our VERY FIRST book review!  Both Lindsey and I will be reviewing the hunger games, so make sure to look for Lindsey's review!

The Hunger Games By Suzanne Collins (five out of five stars)
The Hunger Games series consists of number one, The Hunger Games, number two, Catching Fire, and number three, Mockingjay. I loved these books. You care about all the characters (Or despise of them.)The plot is great, and it is always intense. I couldn't put it down.
Plot: In a future world, America has been torn apart by wars and natural disasters. all that remains is a capitol with twelve outlying Districts. Sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen lives with her mother and her little sister in District 12. Every year, the Capitol has an awful event called The Hunger Games. A boy and a girl from each District are drawn to compete. They are put in a "arena" to kill each other. Only one may survive. When Katniss's sister is drawn, Katniss bravely volunteers to take her place. It is full of adventure and fantasy, but is very much a love story.
I highly recommend this book, but if you are very sensitive to violence, this book might not be for you.
